Meet the Doctors
Dr Darwin Song, DDS, MSc, Dip. Perio, FRCD(c), FAGD
Dr. Darwin Song was born and raised in Edmonton AB and first moved to the Okanagan with his wife Lia in 2003. Since that time he has lived in various parts of British Columbia including Vancouver, Burnaby and Chilliwack. But he is happy to be back amongst the natural beauty and relaxed lifestyle of Kelowna where he is excited to raise his twin boys Ronin & Ryker.
Dr. Darwin Song is a Board Certified Specialist in Periodontics who maintains his specialty status as a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Prior to becoming a periodontist he enjoyed a 10 year career as a general dentist during which time he obtained fellowship status with the Academy of General Dentistry and also completed the core curriculum at the Dawson Academy in Florida where he learned to diagnose and treat complex masticatory system problems.
Dr. Darwin Song has been the recipient of numerous prestigious awards, including the “UBC Faculty of Dentistry Graduate Teaching Assistant Award”, “UBC Killam Graduate Teaching Assistant Award”, “Nobel Biocare Osseointegration Award” for clinical excellence, as well as the “Straumann Leader for Life Award” that recognizes rising leaders in advanced training programs.
Sarah enjoys travelling, yoga, gardening, and staying active outdoors. Sarah is also an accomplished violinist who has held a first violinist position with La Sinfonia de Quebec, the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra and the Regina Symphony Orchestra.
Sarah is especially excited to explore all that the Okanagan has to offer. She has also arrived with her Pomsky puppy, Remy, who is excited to adventure in our beautiful valley.
